The Col Ballroom Rental agreements
Rental for The Col Ballroom for a PRIVATE event (wedding reception, birthday party, baptism, etc.) is $800.00
There is a $100.00 prep area deposit that will be returned if the kitchen is properly maintained.
You are responsible for your own caterer, entertainment and decorating
You are allowed to bring in coffee, tea and punch - All other beverages are purchased though The Col
The Col shall provide a cash bar with bartenders
The Col shall offer off street and on street parking with approximately 600 spaces
TIME: 9am to 12 noon the day of for decorating - After that you are on an 8 hour basis which cannot exceed 12 midnight
You are required at the end of the evening, to take with you anything you wish to keep - everything else
The Col Ballroom is 10,000 square feet, 5,000 which is a dance floor
Capacity of The Col is 1305 standing, and approximately 1,000 seated - These are maximum numbers
Tables are either 8 ft. rectangle or small 2 ft. by 2 ft. squares
The Col offers a prep area with stainless steel tables and sinks - Refrigeration is available upon request
Deposit of $400.00 is required to guarantee space - This amount is applied towards your rent, but is non-refundable
Balance is due two weeks prior to the event
You are required to pay for security which The Col supplies - Total cost is based on the type of event and number
The Col provides you with The City of Davenport Police at a rate of $30.00 per hour per officer - Officer(s)
are not required for the entire event
These prices are for the year 2011
Rental for OPEN TO THE PUBLIC events (concerts, fund raisers, etc.) is $1000.00 with a $500.00 deposit
that is non-refundable, but is applied towards the rent
You must provide us with Liability Insurance Policy naming The Col Ballroom additionally insured, and the policy
can be for no less that $1,000,000.00
There will be a Security fee that is based on details of the event
The Col shall provide full service bars with bartenders - The Col does not share bar sales
The Col Ballroom requires 15% of all concession sales (t-shirts, cd’s, posters, etc.)
These prices are for the year 2010 - Prices are subject to change for any other year
The Col Ballroom is 10,000 square feet and capacity is 1305
